How We Help

C. B. Bond Financial Planning provides independent, accessible financial planning and advice to individuals and families from all life stages and walks of life. We work in-person and virtually, with people from all over the U.S. This is how we help:


The first thing we do is listen. What concerns brought you here? Where are you in life? What are your goals? What do you want from a financial planner? We help you figure these out, and work together on the best way to proceed.


The plan is as individual as you are.  It might be a one-time interactive planning session addressing one or two pressing needs.  Or it might be more comprehensive, to help you prioritize and meet the many competing goals of your individual stage of life.


A good plan has to be implemented to be effective.  We can help a little, if you want to take care of the details yourself.  We can also take care of some or most of the heavy lifting, if it is too time consuming or you are not sure how to accomplish it.


Your life can evolve and change over time, which affects the plan. Investments support the plan and are like a bonsai tree, requiring only occasional, gentle pruning and shaping to thrive. A periodic review of the plan can make sure it stays on track and continues to meet your needs.

We are legally bound to place your interests above those of our firm. We’ve signed a written fiduciary oath to demonstrate our commitment.

We are paid exclusively by our clients. We do not accept commissions or other third party compensation related to our financial and investment recommendations.


We are not financially beholden to any bank, brokerage firm, or insurance company. This allows us to be objective in our approach, and provide advice in an integrated manner on a wide range of financial and investment issues. You receive specific recommendations focused on meeting your unique needs.


We have no minimum net worth or income requirements.  And different people have different desires regarding how much they want to “do it themselves”.  We also recognize that financial planning and investment needs change over time.  Our services are designed to meet these wide-ranging needs.
